Course Description
Our profession has never had greater clarity and consensus on what schools must do to ensure that all students learn. We can contribute this, largely in part, to John Hattie’s ground-breaking study ‘Visible Learning’ – a synthesis of more than 15 years of research involving millions of students which ranks influences that are related to learning outcomes from positive effects to negative effects. This module focuses on literacy practices from ‘Visible Learning’ that ensure students demonstrate more than a year’s worth of learning for a year spent in school and how to make instructional routines that have the biggest impact on student learning a visible part of your literacy instruction.
